Reading the amazing success stories of great people always stimulates motivational enzymes in individuals. We all wish to follow these professionals and get remarkable success. We are often facing lots of horrible situations in our life. These situations are against use and it seems to have no path to get success. One of the great examples of these kinds of personality is a professor Stephen Hawking.

Hawking is popular in the theories of the cosmology field. In these theories, he uses quantum mechanics and Einstein’s relativity theory. In his book named “A Brief History of Time,” he explains the theories in a simple manner. These theories made him more popular among the non-scientistic masses and regular appearances as a constant guest in many TV shows like Star Trek and The Simpsons.

Early life:

Stephen Hawking was born in 1942, Oxford England. The father’s name of Stephen Hawking was Frank and the mother’s name, Isobel. Both of them were highly-educated. Frank was specialized in medicine while Isobel was in Economics and Philosophy Stephen was not good at academics among the four kids of Isobel and Fran. He was often dismissed by the teachers due to his poor and unsatisfactory performance in academics life. But parents always think that just like Einstein, there is a hidden genius in Stephen Hawking.

Disease and struggled:

At the age of 21, Hawking was diagnosed by a doctor with “Motor Neuron disease”. It was a rare condition that can paralyze the individual and may cause death within after some years. According to the doctor, he could only survive two more years. But he proved his doctor wrong and he survived but confined to his wheelchair because of a paralyzed body.

In 1985, he was suffered from pneumonia that seems to kill him. The doctor suggests his wife switch-off life support because according to them, he should die certainly. She refused. Fortunately, Hawking was again survived. But during this session, procure of tracheotomy robbed his speaking ability. He could only be survived and speak via a speech synthesizer.

Career

In his graduate years, Hawking not only fell in love but also diagnosed with ALS at the age of twenty.

Stephen Hawking was expected to go to the same path followed by his father i.e. medicinal research. But he didn’t have an interest in biology because according to him Biology was “too inexact”. So, instead of Biology, he studied his favorite subject at the University of Oxford and later one cosmology and Astronomy at “Trinity Hall, Cambridge”.

During these days he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The disease was progressing with time. But He still communicated despite his disease with the help of the Equalizer system. Beside of his disease, he could author books, written many search and scientific papers and given lectures to different people.

He is well-known for the position of “Lucasian professor Mathematics”. This title was held previously by Sir Issac Newton. Hawking received lots of awards as well as honored because of his outstanding work. Ge received 12-honorary degrees and fellowship on “Royal Society”. He was a member of the “US National Academy of Science”.

In 2009, he was awarded by President Obama the best honorary award “Presidential Medal of Freedom award”.

Brilliant mind

Besides of his disease, he never stopped working. Over his career, he studied some basic laws of the Universe. He proposed that Time and space begins at the beginning of the universe and ends up within black holes. So, according to his opinion, both quantum theory and Einstein’s theory should be united.

He uses both theories and determines Blackholes are not so dark totally but emit radiations. He also predicted that black holes are small as protons and are governed by both quantum mechanics and general relativity.

According to him, the universe has no boundary. The planet may finite. An individual can easily travel from one place to another infinity but never encounter any end wall.

Quotes of Stephen Hawking:

Some motivational quotes of Stephen Hawking are:

“Even if there is only one possible unified theory, it is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the questions of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. Why does the universe go to all the bother of existing? “

“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.”

“It is a waste of time to be angry about my disability. One has to get on with life and I haven’t done badly. People won’t have time for you if you are always angry or complaining.”
