Elon Musk is one of the world-best and well recognized South African entrepreneurs. He is well-known for founding SpaceX and Tesla Motors. SpaceX is a landmark commercial spacecraft that was launched in 2012.

He is an American entrepreneur who also founded X.com in 1999 that later on known as PayPal. In the early 20’s Elon Musk became multimillionaire while sold his company Zip2 to the division of “Compaq company”.

Early life

Elon Musk was born on 28th June, 1971in Pretoria, South-Africa. In his childhood, he lost in the daydreams of becoming the best inventor.

When he was only 10 years old, his parents divorced. At that time, his ability enabled himself to develop computer hardware and software. He learned how to start programming. At 11, he sold his first software with the name of Blaster. Blaster was the gaming software developer in the near age of Musk.

He was introverted and bookish in his grade school. He was bullied till his 15 age so to defend himself, he learned wrestling and karate skills.

The mother’s name of Musk was the Canadian Model named Maye Musk. She is considered one of the oldest stars in the campaign of Covergirl. To support her family, Musk’s mother did five jobs at a time.

Early Education

The Zip2.co was established in 1995 and it was the first corporation that launched by him with his brother.

b) Paypal

In 1999, Kimbal and Elon Musk sell Zip2 and used the money to found X.com. This is an online financial company that is now well-recognized by the name of Paypal. The company earned first billion in October 2002. The company was later acquired by eBay for “$1.5 billion”. Before the sale, he owned 11% of Paypal stock.

SpaceX:

In 2002, Musk founded another company “Space Exploration Technologies Corporation”. Nasa awarded SpaceX as the best company and also a contract to handle cargo transport for an international space station.
